Return & Refund Policy
Payment for a Baitus Sakeenah programme, session, or event secures a place. This policy explains what happens if that place is cancelled, postponed, or no longer suitable for you. It applies to the Marriage Preparatory Hub and to Darul Sakeenah Islamiyya.
01 · Fees
What your payment covers
Payment secures a place on a programme, a counselling session, or a seat at an event. Fees, duration, and any applicable terms are confirmed with you in writing before payment is requested. No payment is taken for a programme whose fee has not yet been announced.
02 · Your cancellations
Cancelling your place
A written request to cancel your place is accepted at any time before the programme, session, or event begins. Whether a refund, a credit toward a later edition, or a transfer of place applies is confirmed in the terms shared with you before payment. Where no terms have yet been issued, the team confirms the position in writing before you are asked to pay.
03 · Our changes
If Baitus Sakeenah cancels or postpones
If a programme, session, or event is cancelled or postponed by Baitus Sakeenah, your fee is refunded in full or, if you prefer, carried over to the next suitable edition. Where a session is rescheduled and the new time does not suit you, the same choice applies.
04 · Counselling
Pre-marital counselling and check-in sessions
Counselling is booked by session. A session cancelled outside the confirmed notice period is refunded or rebooked. A session cancelled inside the confirmed notice period, or not attended, may be treated as consumed; the notice period is shared with you when the session is booked. Counselling is preparatory guidance, not crisis therapy, and does not replace emergency or clinical care.
05 · Events
Workshops, retreats, and circles
Seats for the quarterly Sakeenah Retreat and the monthly Sisters’ and Brothers’ Circles are limited. A seat cancelled before the confirmed cut-off date is refunded or transferred to the next edition. After the cut-off the fee is generally retained, though the team considers genuine circumstances case by case.
06 · Islamiyya
Darul Sakeenah Islamiyya
Fees for Darul Sakeenah Islamiyya are to be announced. Registration at this stage is an expression of interest and carries no payment, so no refund arises. When fees are published, the withdrawal and refund terms for each age group are published alongside them.
07 · Requests
How to make a request
Send your request in writing, stating the programme or session, its date, and the reason. Use the registration or enquiry form, or the contact channel through which your payment was confirmed. Each request is reviewed individually and answered in writing; where a refund is approved, it is returned through the original payment channel.

The following are published as soon as the Baitus Sakeenah team confirms them: Notice period for cancellations Refund processing time Whether a credit toward a later edition is offered in place of a cash refund Any administrative charge on a transferred place
